Very informative insights here. I learned every tactic my somatic narcissist/psychopath used on me. I knew he had PTSD and depression, somehow he is mentally slow, he doesn't elaborate, communicate well or have insights too much. He overthinks. It made me realize there is no going back, as danger is there. I wish It weren't so but it is. I would highly recommend HG's books to anyone who realizes that they are in a relationship with a person who is irrational, demanding, misogynist, sadistic, manipulative, the list goes on. Thank you HG!
HG Tudor details the exact techniques used by narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths to manipulate and ultimately break down their victims. The information provided in this book is extremely valuable and can't be found in any books written by mental health workers. It is another must read because it ultimately gives words to the manipulations victims have experienced and helps people understand why these techniques are being utilized.

He is the brutal truth. Not written in the clinical fashion. Be prepared to feel the punch in your stomach. My Tudors's books will send you reeling and perhaps look for cover. They are of a behaviour that is hard for anyone to understand unless you are one of them. But if you are going to indulge yourself with securing his writings and heed his warnings, then you will be armed and prepared. You will be, as they say, eyes wide open.
I can flash back to specific events in my relationship and identify the exact tool that was used each time. Suddenly, my relationship all makes sense now.
No fluff all Facts Here....You will cringe on how accurate this real truth is.if you cannot read the truth then this book is not for you,This book is gonna hit home and will be a wake up call .If you are sensitive expect like no book before to really tell the true tales of the narc.For sensitive readers prepare for the dark side that you have known all along.the light that you once knew will shine again once read this and how to then understand in depth the way the narc, thinks and the mastermind of manipulation really is at his job.Bet you heard of Love Bombing or better yet the silent treatment or gas lighting disappearance to shove you back into that box once more...This will show you about the object you are and how they really think we are puppets for them to play. After reading this if you don't see the trees through the forest after this book would be very very surprised. a must read for everyone desperate for answers and answers for there ever going roller coaster of doubts ,and constant spinning.
This is a sobering look into the minds of abusive narcissists. If you even think you might be involved with one, read this book and any of the other books by H G Tudor. These are not self-help books per se, but they will help you recognize what is happening to you and give you the push you need to get out of your relationship or at least better deal with it.
In life there are times when I walk away from interactions with others that leave a pit in my stomach, a weight on my heart, or confusion swirling about my head. I have often wondered what just happened, did I imagine the situation, did the other person say and do what I think they said and did? HG describes the tools used by a narcissist to his or her victims, he not only goes into detailed description of each tool, he explains at great length how the tool is used, when and why it is used, and even why it works. After reading The Devil's Toolkit not only could I recognize what tool was being used against me I could spot almost immediately when it was being used. This knowledge equipped me with the ability to no longer be hurt by the tools, and to disengage and walk away before the tool was used in its completion. Awareness is key, knowledge is power, and this is yet another book by HG that gives anyone dealing with a narcissist in their lives the insight they need to protect and safeguard their soul and sanity.
